Ordinarily, I will talk to my friends and the kids around me but this is normally just in school or when I am with some friends.When I am at a large social gathering of some type, I always get shy and kind of go near the wall. By doing that, I can observe everything around me which makes me feel more comfortable in the long term. A lot later, when I feel at a pretty good comfort level, I will start talking to people there but it is normally a lot later.Why can't I just start talking to people immediately?It's almost as if I need to observe my surroundings and the people around me at parties in order to become kind of comfortable with the situation.

Hi I got a 49cc pocket bike with a brand new carby which i installed my self ran fine for about 20 minutes till the tank was empty so i filled it up. every time i try to start it now fuel goes everywhere, pisses out the exhaust [where exhaust meets the cylinder] and a even goes back to the air filter. Thinking it might be a piston problem i took the cylinder of and the piston looks ok but noticed a lot of oil or fuel at the bottom of the crank case which iam not to sure is normal. Im 19 years old my left ankle always swells, i sleep with my bed on an angle which helps drain it at night, my ankle has been swelling for last 3 -4 years, have had no significant injuries, was bitten by a spider which caused major swelling that was around the same time the swelling started. Morning all,I really want a dishwasher, but my kitchen is too small for a full size jobbie. I could hide any hosing under the kitchen units (easy to get at, so no major issue), but was wondering if this might affect the dishwasher. Might the pressure/ability to access the supply be affected if it's connected with a 10ft pipe? The pipe would drop from approx 3ft above ground level, to ground level, then up to 4ft above ground (at the dishwasher), so there's also a gravity issue.Any ideas?Thanks

After reading answers to similar questions, I know to just be yourself and such when you're looking for someone to date. But after you get past that opening line, how do you get the conversation flowing without sounding like you're desperately searching for a new topic. I mean, you can only talk about weather, jobs, etc. for so long and it's generic. I'm looking for a way to avoid the "awkward silence" when the flow hits that major speech-bump.

I got my cat from a shelter when he was still a kitten. They had him fixed and had all his shots done before I picked him up, which was a major help. He is a short-hair black cat, and will be a year old this month. Ever since I got him, he's always been very thin. He eats just as much as my other cat, but he gains no weight. I'm not sure if it's just the breed of cat he is, or if he has a problem with worms. He vomits a lot, but shows no signs of tiring. His breath is unruly, however, there are no traces of worms in his feces. I'm not sure what to do; if I should get him on worm-meds. Even if that is the road I must take, I'm not sure what kind of worm it might be. I am definitely going to take him to the vet. to see what I should do, but I would like to be more knowledgeable about the situation before I go. Does my cat have worms, or is this all just a false alarm?

It's so hard for me to make a decision. I love physics and I like math alot. But it's been 2 years since I don't practice any. The business program seems preety easy, my family says to take business cause I would be able to finish earlier since it has more flexible schedules. I am 36 and have major health problems. I currently have 2 disks missing from my back. I should have had the surgery a while ago, but I have no where to go to recover. I dont qualify for disability because I am not dying from the condition. I also have severe migraines which have almost ruined my chances of getting a job(and keeping it, due to missing work) I have no income coming in, and no home or car. What do I do? I know that I have read many, many posts that you can rarely get a false positive, but I have no symptoms (no morning sickness, sore breasts etc.) In fact the only symptom that I have is that I am 6 days late for my period. On the fourth day that I was late, I bought a pack of two tests and took them, both positive. I have read that if a woman has no symptoms but the HCG is present in her urine that she may have a chemical pregnancy (and I have been getting mild period pains!) I have a Doctors appointment in exactly 2 hours and I am petrified that he will tell me that I am not pregnant. I have been married to my husband for 6 yrs now and we have 2 kids. OVERALL I would say we have a good marriage but there is a constant tug of war on the whole power/control issue. He works full time and I stay at home with the kids. My highest SAT Reasoning score is 1910 and the essay score on that one was a 12. I've only taken the ACT once, and I don't want to take it again, so my score remains a 27. I have a 4.6+ out of 5 GPA. I do, and it is driving me mad. I have to pee. I have to pee all the time. I have to pee right now, but I can't. I awake in the morning with that typical full feeling, and I don't want to get up just yet, but, you just can't relax until you do. But when I get there(the bathroom), I just can't go. Sometimes the only way is to jump in a really warm shower, and that somehow relaxes me. That is bad enough, but, this is the part that really bugs me.I urinate, I think I am all done, and then I go to the kitchen, or outside to do something. The moment I get elsewhere, I feel like I'm going to pee my pants. I, literally, have to run back to the bathroom to avoid that. This happens repeatedly, at all hours of the day, regardless of the quantity of my intake of fluids. I have seen my GP, I have been to the urologist. They say I am pretty normal for a 51 yr old dude, no major problems. I am telling you, this is a major problem for me, but I can't seem to get any relief. My family keeps thinking I can major in anything: government, economics, chemistry, math. They do not look at what I was good at in high school. I keep telling them I am only good at one or two of these things. I keep trying to explain to them that I have special skills in only one or two or these topics. How do you explain that to people?
