I'm the happy owner of a pair of ringneck doves that are now aged between 12 to 18 months (petshop bought, the seller couldn't tell me how old they were exactly).The female started laying eggs a few months after I bought them and do so regularly every month or so. So far, all her eggs had very thin shells that broke easily under the weight of the parents. I always end up replacing the eggs with fake ones so they don't start laying more immediately. I gave them calcium supplement in their water but it don't seem to make a difference.I don't want to breed birds, mine are just companion animals, but I'm worried that it could be the symptom of an health problem with the female. Any tips? I would have seen a vet but there's no avian vet in my area.

My son is 13 months and though I work as hard as I can, I have been part of the WIC program to help get his formula. They stop giving formula after one year. I'm wondering if it is ok to start the transition to whole milk? or should I talk to my doctor first? He doesn't have any sort of attachment issues to his bottle, so I don't think that will be an issue, and his formula is cow milk based, so it might just be a taste difference. Anyone gone through this recently that can give a little guidance? I will work as hard as I can to buy him the formula as long as he needs it but if, at this point, it really doesn't matter, I'd like to go with whole milk. Thanks in advance to all who comment.

ive read online that juvenile and male bibron gecko's have white spots on back. i asked someone at the pet store and she said underneth there will be spots by the start of the tail if there big spots it's a male and small spots it's a female. also the size difference in the tail but i only have one so it's hard to tell any ideas???? would it be too much stress on the gecko if i bring him back to the pet store to find out?

After having an adverse reaction to Cipro, my Dr. put me on Macrobid for my UTI. I know that this antibiotic can sometimes cause lung damage. I am also about to start taking Lybrel as my new form of birth control, which I know has been shown to cause upper respiratory infections. How can I tell the difference between lung damage symptoms from the Macrobid and symptoms of infection from the birth control? I know that the odds of lung damage are small, but that's also what they said about the risk of tendon damage from the Cipro (and now my rotator cuff and hip hurt), so naturally I'm a little bit concerned. HELP!P.S. I'm not currently having lung trouble, I just want to know "just in case."

I am 17 years old. i really really really really hate school. I am good at it, last report card was all A and B and 2 C+ with a 77% but i am really awful at math, or.. acctually.. not that bad.. i got a C+... but i really hate doing math. it's so damn useless. who cares about area of a triangle or square... jesus christ.. i hate math and i have it everyday. i can't take it for two more years. i want to finish Ged and get into college and study what i want, avoiding math, because i see it as an absolute useless stupid lesson, and do not understand why everyone has to take it, i understand it if you want to be an engineer, but i don't. so please. tell me if it makes a difference, if i take Ged and finish college. the odds are i'll get very high grade except math in GED. and once i finish i go to college.. i always thought people only look at your bachelors degree and not your highschool deploma... so they won't even know it that I've done Ged. cause all they see is my bachelors degree.

I work 35 hours a week in NY at $10 / hour. So out of my $350 paycheck, I am having $54.18 taken out in taxes, leaving me $295.82. So 15.48% is taken out of my weekly paycheck in taxes.However, the first week I worked was a 4-day work week (having worked 28 hours), and I only had $25.77 taken out of my $280 paycheck, leaving me $254.23. So a little over 9% of my paycheck was taken out in taxes.My question is: should there be such a difference between the percentages taken out of my paycheck? I mean I know I should have more dollars taken out of a higher paycheck, but I at least thought it would be the same percentage. Since the amount taken out of my $280 check was about 9%, I expected 9% to also be taken out of my $350 paycheck (9% of 350 is $32) which would leave me about $318 (instead of $295.82).I am a college student and I do not make much money, not more than $3000-$5000 a year at best. My mum is fine but its my dad its really annoying/hurting me. Ever since i started going out with my bf my dad was like.. well hes just been quiet ever since.
