While I think some supervision is okay, he should teach his daughters to judge right from wrong and make right decisions on their own, and not be overprotective and controlling. I had friends with those overcontrolling parents and their lives were totally messed up and they ended doing jobs they hated just to please their dads, until some of them had the courage to stand for themselves. Let's say everyone in the United States agreed that all the presidential candidates were unworthy of the job. That's McCain, Obama, everyone. And they all (for once,) decided to join together in not voting at all. So come election day, not one single vote was cast.What would happen then? Can we just get some new people to run, ones we might actually vote for? Must we vote for the lesser of two evils? Ok 3 years ago I was a democrate all about Mccain. But now he has joined the Bush train. With so many americans bitching about the economy and how things are going.... how can people vote for Mccain? I know a lot of you have already joined the Obama support team and I commend you; however, there are still so many supporters who absolutely will not support Barack Obama and I don't understand why? I too am a huge supporter of Clinton; however, during the primaries I listened to Obama speak. I listened to his ideas and the good he could do for this country and there is no way I could every deny him my vote into the White House. I was so torn...I couldn't bring myself to vote for one or the other in my state primary.Right now, more than ever, it is so important that we bring about change in the White House and either one of these candidates would bring about this change, but Obama is now officially the Democratic candidate. If you don't support him, does this mean you will be voting for John McCain?One of the best biggest reasons I've heard about people supporting Hilary Clinton is because of the huge step she has made for women. Let me leave you with these quick tidbits of information. John McCain wants to overturn Roe v. Wade. Meanwhile, Obama would be working to make sure the women receive equal wages for women. So why set back women for 35 years by voting John McCain into the White House? I just don't get it.Also, women, not voting is not the answer. People worked too long and hard for you not to.
