Resolved Question: Question about...
Lets suspend the usual nonsense for a few minutes... lets not take shots at Obama or McCain. Let's say YOU are the president... what would YOU do about Iran?Ahmadinejad Is really starting to freak me out! And frankly, I agree with using diplomacy, but this guy doesn't seem like he's into sitting around having a good chat. But we can't just blow up the entire country of Iran... we are already waaayyy over-extended in Iraq.OK - Mr. or Mrs. President... what would you do about Iran?
Resolved Question: what is hillary...
if any 1 knows the clintons they know they will not settle for second best.what does hillary want,to be president of course.it will not happen this year so what does she do now, well as you can see her and her pundants are pushing her to get the vp slot.why are they doing this, because they know it will be refused.what does that cause,it angers the 18 million supporters even more, hoping they defect to mccain or sit out, mccain wins and hillary runs in 012.if obama becomes president she will never be,she cant run in 12 and by 16 she will be too old.thats why she styed in the whole way even though she had not shot of winning enough delegates,to damage obama more hoping he will lose in november.

The Power of Obama:1. The astonishing enthusiasm that Obama inspires in his supporters — and how much it contrasts with the respect, but not passion, McCain enjoys from his own backers. (And the size of Obama’s crowds…)2. The “Major League vs Little League” difference between Obama’s infrastructure and his own.3. The inherent difficulty/sensitivity of running against two figures at once. McCain will have to 1) explicitly criticize a sitting Republican president before Republican audiences and 2) prevent the historic event of electing the nation’s first African-American president that many in the country (and the media) desire.4. The ever-present danger on the trail that he might evoke Bob Dole with a Bob Dole-like misstep (fall off a stage, sound like a Washington fossil, seem angry and out of touch).5. How little most Americans care about foreign policy (beyond the Iraq War) when the economy is in the tank.6. How many voters (even Republican stalwarts) dread the idea of a virtual third Bush term.7. How many members of the media dread the idea of covering a virtual third Bush term (and how much they buy Obama’s argument that McCain is an extension of Bush-Cheney).8. The extent to which McCain’s lack of an economic message could make Obama (who also is challenged in adequately addressing the economy) seem like Bob Rubin, Bill Clinton, and Lou Dobbs all rolled into one.9. That many of his party’s wiseguys and wisegals see polling data suggesting his chances of winning are no more than 30% (and how much it infects their cable TV appearances).10. That in modern America, perception is often reality and style often beats substance.11. That age is only a number unless it’s a really high number — then it’s a liability.12. How old he looks when he is acting “presidential” on the stump – and how incongruous it makes his message of change appear.13. How powerful debates might be when the allegedly inexperienced Obama of allegedly questionable judgment goes toe-to-toe with McCain, even on national security, and is therefore deemed of sufficient strength and stature to be president by many.14. How valuable Obama makes voters feel (”we are the change we have been waiting for”) – while McCain’s campaign instructs and lectures voters.15. How forcefully Obama will now move to the center as a mainstream, optimistic candidate celebrating both change and America’s greatness.- Mark HObama supporters were right about Hillary losing, and we are RIGHT about McCain. ON to the White House!Hope Monger: McInsane...LMAO

Resolved Question: Did you see the...
Frankly I was a bit suprised, but maybe I shouldn't be as the Obama CAMPAIGN has generally made the right decisions (IMO) about 90% of the time in this race. (They did blow Texas, however.)The results were shown on MSNBC's countdown last night. The margin of error was apparently a tiny 3% which makes these results even more shocking.WomenMcCain - 33%Obama - 52%Hispanic votersMcCain - 28%Obama - 62%The McCain camp considers the female vote to be a, if not "the", decisive voting segment for Republicans. When they win that, they win. McCain is down by 19% there. Now admittedly, Obama does have to mend bridges with a lot of Hillary's female supporters to have a comfortable margin among women --- there is still 15% there in play that today would seem likely to sit out, but could go either way--- but the margin among hispanic voters were the truely shocking results to me. I guess that explains why Obama has been polling better in states like NJ lately.(NJ being a 2004 Kerry state that McCain was looking at as a potential steal due in no small part to Obama being somewhat unpopular with latino voters -12% of NJ)
Resolved Question: Not Obama Fan, But...
I am planning to be in Europe as I sit out this election. No one that I want to be president is in it so I don't care. Bt it is fun to hear republicans talk about trying to get McCAin to drop out.And it is still frightening that the media can control the elctorate so much.Hillary did concede last night, if you really listened. But she also talked about EXA CTLY what she would do. Obama still didn't.They were discussing it on Bill Bennet this morning.I am not moving to Europ. ILOVE the USA. I am just escaping during the Presidential elections because I have lost interest. Of the two to choose from,it doesn't make a difference to me. Some of you really have a stick up the butt.

If the money is not going to be used by the candidates how about stimulus checks for all of us.It will just sit for another 4 years doing nothing .Almost 200 million dollars.
Resolved Question: Do you wonder why...
If Obama is so sure of himself then why doesn't he do it?When he refuses it makes him look like he has something to hide and makes him look bad! They just said Obama couldn't show up at this latest towhall meeting to answer THE PEOPLE questions because he was too busy sitting in meetings.Wow that's sad!! McCain has the time for the PEOPLE but not Obama. Sorry he is too busy to CARE about the American people.I guess he is too busy memorizing a speech that someone else wrote for him!McCain 08

the controversy with the two sister who was denied to sit behind Barack Obama...let me also share what i think...he comes from a background shared by Islam on behave of his father...naturally we Muslims are attracted to him more then anyone else. He isn't Muslim and i'm okay with this. but it breaks my heart what humiliation those sisters had to endure. i am proud to say i am 110% for Obama. i worked at his rally and i did it proudly...as Ed Rollins said on cnn if he has a different name no one would care if Muslims was on his side. we of the good side of Islam want this war to be finished. this is a change i can believe in. yea it might be suicide to pull out...but at least he moves for peace...don't republicans and independents want peace also? McCain wants more war...what good can come from war...what good has came of it so far...our country is in debt alone from this war...and this war is making it hard on our pockets and budget...is this what they really want to continuemy god you have misunderstood my approach. i believe i did say that the good side of us Muslims want peace. there HAVE been rallies that Muslims marched for peace. but naturally many seem to forget our tributes as we can. he appologized for what happened even though he had little control. he denies his Islam maybe his father left and his mom was Christian. and he felt accepted and comforted by his mothers faith; so u expect me to be angry by this. Allah gave him free choice...who am i to judge him...no im not mad. let it be the other way around, i bet then it wouldn't be such a big deal them...sorry...i wouldn't be such a big deal then@ freepress s...i think you should go back and count my Q again there is more then one. really who's ranting...i believe i asked about imput and opinions. and i put my imput... look what else i asked
Resolved Question: election 08?
first of all i'm not american and i don't support any of the candidates. i have a question about obama and mccain on the issue of talking with the enemy. is it bad to sit down with your enemy and try to sort out your differences rather than going to war since what you have been doing now is not working? i also don't understand one thing.i personally don't believe iran would try to attack israel. they know if they do the other powerful nations will punish them for it. your thoughts

Open Question: Why should I vote for...
I'm planning on voting for Obama...but perhaps you can sway my vote? Please don't give me the argument of inexperience and I don't want to hear anything about race. I also don't want to hear how Obama is going to befriend "the terrorists", and sit and tell jokes with "the terrorists", and invite "the terrorists" over for coffee, and terrorists this and terrorists that. NO FEAR MONGERING! I would really like some valid points of why McCain would be a better president than Obama.
Resolved Question: Are we just...
I see the Obama supporters, and I can't help but thinking that they're like children who just got to sit on Santa's lap. He promised them the world, but when Christmas morning comes they're going to be saaaaaaad little kids. Whether he wins or loses.I see the McCain supporters, and I can't help but thinking about the gamblers who are deep in the hole, needing a miracle, but convinced that if they just keep playing like they've been playing their luck HAS to turn around sooner or later. Even if they win a little, they lose.I see the Ron Paul supporters, so armor clad in self righteousness, and I can't help but thinking about newly converted Catholics. So eager to share and convince and convert that they come across as annoying nutbags. It may be a lost cause, but they're fighting the good fight! Never mind that it's the ideology that should matter, not the man himself. So who, if anyone, is going to win in November? I think we're all going to be disappointed. True?
Open Question: If this is from...
Yes, Mrs. McCain is the perfectly coifed blonde standing dutifully behind the senator during his speeches. And yes, she wears stylish clothing and carries a Prada purse. And it's true she doesn't say much. But feminist critics who write her off as a "stand-by-your-man" shrinking violet are selling her short. In many ways, Cindy McCain stacks up sturdier than Hillary Clinton or Michelle Obama. And she'd make a more impressive first lady.Mrs. McCain: More than meets the eye. While Obama's wife has been hating America, complaining about the war and undermining our troops serving in Iraq and Afghanistan, McCain's wife has been worrying about her sons who actually are fighting or planning to fight in the war on terror. One, in fact, was until a few months ago deployed in Iraq during some of the worst violence. You don't hear the McCains talk about it, but their 19-year-old Marine, Jimmy, is preparing for his second tour of duty. Their 21-year-old son, Jack, is poised to graduate from Annapolis and also could join the Marines as a second lieutenant. The couple made the decision not to draw attention to their sons out of respect for other families with sons and daughters in harm's way.Cindy also says she doesn't want to risk falling apart on the campaign trail talking about Jimmy who was so young when he enlisted she had to sign consent forms for his medical tests before he could report for duty and potentially upsetting parents of soldiers who are serving or have been killed. The McCains want to make sure their boys get no special treatment. Same goes for their five other children, including a daughter they adopted from Bangladesh. During a visit to Mother Teresa's orphanage there, Cindy noticed a dying baby. The orphanage could not provide the medical care needed to save her life. So she brought the child home toAmerica for the surgery she desperately needed. The baby is now their healthy, 16-year-old daughter, Bridget.Though all seven McCain children including two Sen. McCain adopted from his first marriage are supportive of their father, they prefer their privacy to the glare of the campaign trail. Another daughter, Meghan, 23, helps him behind the scenes.Cindy McCain not only cherishes her children, but also her country, which in an election year filled with America-bashing, is a refreshing novelty. She seethed when she heard Michelle Obama's unpatriotic remarks that she only recently grew proud of America. "I am very proud of my country," Mrs. McCain asserted. She also may be tougher than the other women in the race. While Hillary thinks she's come under sniper fire on mission trips abroad, Cindy has actually seen violence. She witnessed a boy get blown up by a mine in Kuwait during a trip with an international group that removes land mines from war-torn countries.Mrs. McCain also is a hands-on philanthropist. She sits on the board of Operation Smile, which arranges for plastic surgeons to fix cleft palates and other birth defects. She also has helped organize relief missions to Micronesia.During a scuba-diving vacation to the islands, Mrs. McCain took a friend to a local hospital to have a cut treated. She was shocked, and saddened, by what she saw."They opened the door to the OR, where the supplies were, and there were two cats and a whole bunch of rats climbing out of the sterile supplies," she recalled. "They had no X-ray machine, no beds. To me, it was devastating because it was a U.S. trust territory."As soon as she returned home, she arranged for medical equipment and teams of doctors to be sent to treat the island children.Michelle Obama may contribute to CARE, which fights global poverty and works to empower poor women. Cindy sits on its board. While the Democrat women talk about helping the poor and needy, Cindy McCain actually rolls up her sleeves and does it. Who's the out-of-touch elitist?
Resolved Question: Do you know what...
What the Obama fans failed to take into account?NUMBER ONE:Half of all the Democratic votes came from Clinton voters. Over 18 million to be exact.NUMBER TWO: Many Republicans voted in caucuses and primaries to be able to skew the numbers and keep the Democrats dragging out their nominee. McCain was virtually unchallenged once he reached a certain number and Romney was out.NUMBER THREE: Many Republicans and Independents DID not EVEN vote. This is also true for some Democrats who will still vote in the General. Obama and McCain were virtually tied as of yesterday on most sites. Now with the Clinton defectors it will take a mere 10% to throw Obama out of the RACE!Many of the states that HRC won will go to McCain in the FALL for ONE my LARGE Delegate Rich state of TEXAS will vote JOHN MCCAIN!Sit back and enjoy your "nominee" the road is swiftly fixing to come to a screeching halt!

Open Question: Do you know this about...
John McCain's SonsTalk about putting your most valuable where your mouth is! Apparently this was not "newsworthy" enough for the media to comment about. Can either of the other presidential candidates truthfully come close to this? ... Just a question for each of us to seek an answer, and not a statement. You see...character is what's shown when the public is not looking. There were no cameras or press invited to what you are about to read about, and the story comes from one person in New Hampshire . One evening last July, Senator John McCain of Arizona arrived at the New Hampshire home of Erin Flanagan for sandwiches, chocolate-chip cookies and a heartfelt talk about Iraq . They had met at a presidential debate, when she asked the candidates what they would do to bring home American soldiers - - soldiers like her brother, who had been killed in action a few months earlier.Mr. McCain did not bring cameras or press. Instead, he brought his youngest son, James McCain, 19, then a private first class in the Marine Corps about to leave for Iraq . Father and son sat down to hear more about Ms. Flanagan's brother Michael Cleary, a 24-year-old Army First Lieutenant killed by an ambush ... a roadside bomb.No one mentioned the obvious: In just days, Jimmy McCain could face similar perils. 'I can't imagine what it must have been like for them as they were coming to meet with a family that ......' Ms. Flanagan recalled, choking up. 'We lost a dear one,' she finished.Mr. McCain, now the presumptive Republican nominee, has staked his candidacy on the promise that American troops can bring stability to Iraq . What he almost never says is that one of them is his own son, who spent seven months patrolling Anbar Province and learned of his father's New Hampshire victory in January while he was digging a stuck military vehicle out of the mud.Two of Jimmy's three older brothers went into the military. Doug McCain, 48, was a Navy pilot. Jack McCain, 21, is to graduate from the Naval Academy next year, raising the chances that his father, if elected, could become the first president since Dwight D. Eisenhower with a son at war. I chose to share this with those who I believe will pass it on, to others who will pass it on. We hear so much inflated trash out there. How about a simple act of kindness ... and dedication to others placed above oneself?Has anybody heard if Barack Hussein Obama has served in The American Armed Services? This is for all you Barack voters! From Barack's book, Audacity of Hope: "I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction."HE DID NOT SAY STAND WITH AMERICANS!!!!Yes, WonderWhy...your right24And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. 25And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; 26Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. 31So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand. 32Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled. 33Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.words of Luke 21

I would like to get more involved with a good CONSERVATIVE organization. Does anyone know of any? I can't sit by and watch the republican party and all of the moderates. I'm voting for McCain only because he's better than Obama but he's certainly not my ideal candidate.I asked this question before but it was deleted for whatever reason. Thanksbuzz lightyear:Thank you for proving a point. The only reason liberals or conservatives have the right to say what they want is because of the military. The only difference is the liberals think that this freedom comes out of the air. That it's free and you are entitled to it. It's not free you moron. I was in the army. I believe you should serve your country...not your country serve you. So go back to hugging trees, complaining about america and trying to destroyi this country! No, better yet....move to France!
Resolved Question: How can we change...
You have to admit it, we have the two worst candidates running for President. We can either choose McCain (a liberal), or Obama (a socialist). The federal government is getting bigger and bigger. Environmentalists are driving up oil prices. Our country is divided. Racism has almost done a complete 180, and now being white is just plain bad. Hollywood and the mainstream media are ruining our culture. Other countries are laughing at us, because we are sitting here letting them tap into our oil and natural gas deposits. Taxes keep going up, while government just does nothing. More and more Americans are waiting for the government to improve their lives. When did we stop taking care of ourselves? How can we reverse this process?
Voting Question: Do you know Watne...
There are thousands reading this right now, many of which may not have decided who they are going to vote for. What could you say to encourage them to give you their vote? Mr. Root: Barack Obama (my college classmate Columbia University Class of '83) talks nonstop about change. So do Hillary and McCain. None of them are agents of change. They are longtime politicians (and lawyers). They are the problem- not the solution. Barack was just named as the single most liberal member of the entire U.S. Senate. That's based on facts- his voting record. Is that the change we want? That's not change- that's the same old “soak the rich,” “redistribute the wealth,” “spend like a drunken sailor,” and “spend trillions on a failing war on poverty” philosophy of big government, out-of-touch, bleeding heart liberals like Ted Kennedy, George McGovern, Walter Mondale and Michael Dukakis. Is this what America calls change? While China and Russia turn unabashedly capitalistic, do we want to move towards Socialism? McCain is another big government conservative. He's been collecting government checks in D.C. for 25 years. Hillary wants Universal Healthcare- so we can bankrupt America and throw Americans in jail for trying to choose the doctor of their choice. Scary. That's what happens in UK and Canada- if you're sick you wait in line for weeks or months to see a doctor- who is forced upon you by the government. You don't like that doctor-too bad. He's an incompetent doctor- too bad. You're out of luck. You need a hip replaced right away? Too bad- you'll have to sit in a wheelchair for 18 months until it's your turn. Anyone want that system? Who wants to vote for “the same old, same old.” The D.C. insiders are the ones who have ruined things. Our country is in trouble. It's time for a dramatic change; a non-violent revolution. Who better to lead that revolution than a son of a butcher. I say “THROW THE BUMS OUT.” A perfect example is found in the final 3 contenders for the major party Presidential nominations- Clinton, Obama, and McCain are people that have been agents of big government their whole lives. Always collecting government checks. Always voting against tax cuts (even though it's our money in the first place). Always feeding off taxpayers. Always bribing the voters to stay in office- thereby increasing government spending and running up a huge deficit. But here's the worst thing of all- all 3 are sitting U.S. Senators. They collect a 6-figure income from the taxpayers. Being a Senator is a full-time job, isn't it? But these 3 are spending every waking hour campaigning for President. How are they earning their $175,000 U.S. Senate salaries? They're not even present to vote on important bills. They are cheating the citizens of New York, Illinois and Arizona. It's, in my opinion, fraud to run for higher office while collecting a check for another political office. The rules should be changed- if you want to run for President, you have to step down from your present office. Why should taxpayers pay the cost for absent politicians who ignore the job for which they are being paid? If what I'm saying strikes a chord- it's time to vote for a complete outsider. A rebel with a pitchfork and musket. A citizen legislator. A small businessman, S.O.B. (son of a butcher) and Las Vegas oddsmaker. I am the perfect “OUT OF THE BOX” candidate. Some people are scared of Vegas. Religious people think it has a negative connotation. You know what the difference is between Las Vegas and Washington D.C.? In Vegas the drunks gamble with their own money! It's time to shake things up in Washington. Put the rebel and maverick small businessman from Las Vegas in charge. I could certainly do a better job than the fools, hypocrites and greedy thieves that have run this country for the past 50 years.

Resolved Question: A question for...
First of all, please, I would really like to hear the opinion of those who are/were ardent Hillary Clinton supporters. Will you go on to stand behind her, as she asks her supporters to back the democratic nominee? Do you agree with her that when compared to the alternative, democrats must get behind Obama? How many of you do not care what she is saying now, and still plan to either sit out or vote for McCain, and if so, why? Do you think that's the best solution for our country, or is it an action you would take out of spite? Also, does anyone agree with me that Hillary sounded more serene (relieved, perhaps) and genuine in her speech today than the majority of her other speeches and public statements? Thanks so much to almost all of you who met the qualifications (meaning: you are or were a Clinton supporter) and answered the question!!! Of course, I don't agree with everyone here-- how could I? And I am an Obama supporter. But I truly wanted to hear from Clinton supporters, regardless of their view of my candidate. So, thanks to almost all! Someone said that I must have never listened to Clinton's speeches, and that would be incorrect. I am currently a stay-at-home mom, and I am a political news junkie nerd. I would like to point out that I did not say, nor did I mean, that Clinton sounded more serene and genuine than in ANY of her speeches-- I said moreso than the MAJORITY of her speeches-- and I've probably heard at least 75% of them that were on any of the cable news networks (I can't be watching tv all the time!). The emotions I felt today from her v. what I felt from her in other speeches is obviously a subjective issue. That is why I asked for your opinion, Megan. For those who are wondering: will I only pick an answer that is one I agree with or would like to hear? No. I will have to go back and see who answered my question the most thoroughly (b/c there were a lot of questions in my question). To everyone who answered and is a Clinton supporter, regardless of the tone of your answer, I've already given you a thumbs up. And thank you for your opinions.Megan, sfdiego, Bekindtoanimals and Claude'sWife---- great job! I think the four of you did the best as far as addressing my actual questions. This is tough, but I think I know who answered most thoroughly. Thanks to all!!!

How forcefully Obama will now move to the center as a mainstream, optimistic candidate celebrating both change and America’s greatness.
Resolved Question: HAVE you ever seen...
Obama still didn't.They were discussing it on Bill Bennet this morning.I am not moving to Europe. I LOVE the USA. I am just escaping during the Presidential elections because I have lost interest. Of the two to choose from,it doesn't make a difference to me. Some of you really have a stick up the butt.
McCain Must Give Up Public Funding...
McCain should show that he understands what it means to be a Republican and embrace corporate financing enthusiastically. In an effort to maximize his fundraising potential Barack Obama has announced that he will finance his campaign entirely with private contributions. While his campaign presented this as a populist move based on his large number of small contributions from individual donors, ...
Resolved Question: If BO gets Pres,...
what will happen if/when there is a giant blood bath as the diff. sects of Iraqies, start walloping on each other ..as they already have been doing? Will Americans sit on their thumbs? Be like the 3 monkeys (not I don't me Obama, Hillary and McCain) ...or will the find it is needed to go back into Iraq and protect those poor people from each other?Keep in mind, this happened in Vietnam when we left. What do you think is going to happen if the US leaves these Iraqy folks alone shortly?Well, yes of course you first two are right.Do you really think the Liberals who pull the plug on the war, will be able to tolerate the blood shed that will occurr?Do you think the will get the UN involved or some other multi national kinda thing maybe? Seems hard for me to beleive people will sit by for this kinda stuff.

Open Question: Should we allow Cuba...
"New drilling already could be in the works 50 miles off the Florida coast -- by Cubans, not Americans, with help from China and other allies. A rich undersea oil field stretches into Cuban waters near the Florida Keys." I found this off of a CNN website of all places http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/06/18/bush.offshore/index.htmlAlso, only 18 percent of the country is against offshore drilling. Surprisingly, only 37 percent of LIBERALS are against it. My first part of the question is: why are people keep saying that conservation and alternative fuels are the only answer. Why can't we focus on conserving energy, develop clean and alternative fuels, AND drill our own oil? Wouldn't all of the above be the best solution? Now that McCain FINALLY supports offshore drilling, is it going to go to a vote before the election, or will the congress defy the American people?here is the source for those poll numbers regarding public support for drilling:http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/general_politics/67_support_offshore_drilling_64_expect_it_will_lower_prices

Resolved Question: What is better for...
Is it better for McCain to win the election and Hillary can run again in 4 years (either against McCain or a different Repub since he has hinted that he would only serve 1 term) or is it better for Obama to win, and Hillary has to try to unseat a sitting president in the next election nomination process?
Resolved Question: Since when are you...
I like to call myself a moderate democrat as many of my views represent those of democrats. But I'm voting for McCain. Not because I'm racist, not because I'm uneducated, because Obama's views are far too left winged for me and McCain's represent those of a moderate republican. I voted for Bush in 2004 because Kerry was an idiot. I voted for Gore in 200, and I voted for Clinton in 96 and 92. And I voted for Bush in 88 and Reagan the previous year. Just because someone is the same party as you doesn't mean they share the same views. Example, if Huckabee was the republican nom, I would probably vote for Obama because his views are WAY too right for me, but that is not the case. I am moderate and McCain's views sit better with me. Does that make me a racist?Dems For McCain-- Because McBush is better than O-Carter.http://www.freewebs.com/demsformccain

Resolved Question: McCain is an...
I don't tend to watch too much news, I usually read it. However, I am sitting here watching McCain and cannot believe he stands a chance at office. He can barely speak, or formulate a sentence. His coherence level is only just scraping above Bush. Does anyone else think he is an idiot? If not, why do you like him?Why the need to get personal? Is it that difficult for you to formulate an argument without turning to pathetic tactics? As we have taken this to a personal level, please allow me the courtesy to respond. I am grateful that McCain supporters have exposed themselves to be on a similar par to McCain; I am now even more convinced of my position. As for me, I did not say I was an Obama supporter, and as far as my voting age is concerned and my pre-voting research Mercadies2000, grow-up! If we are to rely only on the likes of you with your "great knowledge" then I worry for the fate of this country and also the world.
Voting Question: Can Obama take an...
I need for obama to sit down and do a you tube just covering his tax plans health care and other changes he plans to make.I am a hillary voter on the fence ...i need facts to help me decide....no this junk i see on tv...blaming mccain for gas prices and unemployment...only dictators get to control those things.I have never seen a president ever be able to change the big stuff.programstypo..ouch..hate iti want to choose who to support nowso i can send money and volunteeri will decide by the end of june..then there is no turning backI dont want a speechI want a rhetoric free talk with charts and facts with complete factual details.I want to learn something not be talk at.I WANT FACTS FROM THE MANS MOUTHI dont need to ask mccain..its already in a video on his website.
Resolved Question: Can someone help...
If I've ever seen a more boring speaker, I can't think of one. Even the people sitting behind the dais look like a bunch of zombies. He seems like a decent man, but I can't even imagine him having the energy or enthusiasm to be President of the United States! I am still wondering why, of all of the Republican candidates, he won the nomination!
Resolved Question: Want some opinions...
I am not going to sit here on this question and say I support this person or that person. But I have noticed after listening to a lot of people talk in person or reading what people write on here I wonder what it is your canidate will do to help this country. I find a lot of people dont know anything about who they support. I hear people yelling for Obama and when asked what are his plans they dont know. I also hear people saying McCain is the answer but again no one knows any of his ideas or plans. I have watched both of these people talk on tv and notice both of them say whatever is appealing to the people. I have not heard any real solutions to any problems in this country. McCain mostly talks about winning in Iraq and national security. Obama preaches change for the good. I also notice McCain's ideas on different subjects are different than in 2000. I am beginning to believe either one of them in office will make no real difference. And some will say that is why I am voting Ron Paul. I dont care to hear anything about Ron Paul. He isnt going to win and has 0 chance whether you like it or not. I am talking about either Obama or McCain. Do you really believe either of them will do much of anything? It is interesting that no one is really interesting.

Of course that won't pay the entire cost, probably billions, if not trillions of dollars, but it's a start. Let him try to buy food and gasoline like other Americans who don't sit on vast fortunes.
Resolved Question: In Your Opinion...
Historians and presidential scholars say they aren't giving likely Republican presidential nominee John McCain much of a chance of winning the White House. Even though polls show the Arizona senator and his probable Democratic opponent, Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., neck-and-neck at this point, the scholars say McCain, in fact, faces long odds partly because the GOP is at the bottom of a cyclical popularity trough, the Politico.com Web site reported Sunday. "This should be an overwhelming Democratic victory," American University historian Allan Lichtman told the Web site. Lichtman, whose forecasting model has correctly predicted the last six presidential elections, added, "Republicans face what have always been insurmountable historical odds.""McCain shouldn't win it," presidential historian Joan Hoff said, saying his chances resemble those of Hubert Humphrey in 1968, who lost to Richard Nixon because of the unpopularity of a sitting president of the same party, in Humphrey's case, Lyndon Johnson. And Alan Abramowitz, a presidential scholar at Emory University, told Politico.com that this year represents one of the worst political environments for the incumbent party since World War II. "It would be a pretty stunning upset if McCain won," Abramowitz said.Thank you, your thoughts are appreciated.Sorry about the thumbs down.I agree the historians will be proven wrong this time.
Resolved Question: Can You Support...
I know I can. People say McCain is just Dubya made over but I can't see it. Dubya was just Godawful as President and Everyone knows it (Even if many of My fellow Reps refuse to admit it)One glaring difference right away to me is that while Dubya was sitting on His duff in the Texas Guard (Yeehaw!!) McCain was sitting in The Hanoi Hilton Prison Camp. This proves right away to me who has character and who loves their Country and who doesn't.What do You think. Possible to support McCain and not Bush?I disliked Bush 8 years ago Brett..sorry.
Resolved Question: Why is Obama...
McCain asked Obama again to join him at town hall meetings across America to answer and debate issues in front of a crowd. However, Obama has refused for the second time in a row. Why?Does he know the audience will ask him questions on how to solve issues, instead of a sitting audience who only listens to his words of change? My respect continue to drops for Mr. Obama.Thomas: They declined a national debate because it would only be sponsored by I believe ABC and they wanted it to be on every news channel. This has nothing to do with the town hall meetings. My source is CNN out of all places lol. Obama refused for the second time McCain's offer.
Open Question: What do you imagine...
don't go from logic, just say the first image that pops into your head. for me:Obama: standing in avant-garde art gallery in san francisco, holding a glass of expensive wine in his hand, laughing with a group of wealthy ultra liberals at a joke that was at the expense of blue collar peopleMcCain: sitting on a couch in a quiet room decorated in muted colors. He is in the middle of a very boring conversation with a group of white men in theirs 60s. At various points in the conversation they laugh at old man jokes, probably about finance or something no one else would find funny.
