My Cousin Jonny loosens his grip on his dad’s hand, and his dad faints. Everyone in the room started crying except Aunty Sharon. Initially when I just graduated I wanted to pursue a career in animation since I am good in drawing, creative. Since I was small I was really fascinated with the cartoons and always wanted to know how it’s done and to do it also. So just after graduation I joined an animation institute. Since I had no knowledge of what course to do, I was told to do an animation program which would include all the possible animations like 2D, 3d, etc. After going for one month I realized that doing the whole course was useless since this was told to me by the faculty of that institute who was teaching me Illustrator. Well, I recently graduated college, so as a graduation gift to myself I decided to purchase the nicest sleeping bag I could get my hands on. Money is not an issue, as I am considering this a serious investment, hopefully.I am looking for the most compressible sleeping bag, with a good temperature rating, so anything 20 Fahrenheit or lower is what I am looking for and more in the range of 0 degrees Fahrenheit or lower if possible.Someone suggested I look into the recon-3 or recon-4 sleeping bags. While cleaning up yesterday, I found a receipt for a donation I made to a cousin's charity walk. I realized that in the past year, I also sent her a baby gift. She has not thanked me for either of them, nor has that family even acknowledged an elaborate favor i did for them a few years ago. However, we would like to purchase a dog and are trying to raise 600 dollars to fund the first few months of dog ownership before we buy it (we're purchasing from the pound, but still want enough money to pay for food/shots, etc., for the first few months). To save 600 dollars from just our own finances would literally take a year, and we aren't interested in dipping into our savings for the expense. Would it be ok to sell the gift? We are already selling a few other items, but nothing that would net as much profit as the SkyCaddie. My parents are pretty well-off and often give lavish gifts, so I know they didn't save up for the gift for a long time or anything. I still feel pretty bad about it, but I know we would enjoy having the dog, but would almost never use the SkyCaddie-- help!Edit: I should mention as to the time/money for a dog vs. golf: whereas my husband is the only person who plays golf, and therefore is the only person who can benefit from the caddy, I can also care for the dog. Also, we could afford golf if it were a priority (as a dog would be, of course)...but in order to use the skycaddy properly, you need to play quite often (it requires a yearly subscription), so even though he could squeeze a round in every few weeks, it isn't enough golf to justify having the GPS system.

ok So Im wondering who is right? yesterday my mother and I went to a bead show and we took my old baby sitter who treated me very well as a child and was always there and always very nice and helpful. This babysiter is probably one of the nicest people I know and over theyears has become a family friend coming to my highschool graduation and gave me a rather substantial gift for my college graduation along with very nice birthday and christmas gifts which all except graduation gift have been returned in kind with equally valuable gifts. now from a materialistic point of view we have maintained a very level and fair trade between the two families hers and mine. however since lateely over tha oast 8 or so years as I have become an adult we see her and her family occasionally and have become friends. Any way my mother wished for me to write her a thank you note for coming with us to the show and while I have no problems with writing thank you notes and find all this materialistic dueling to be juvenile I dont think this event warrants a thank you for joining us on this little hour drive to a show to which she had equal interest in attending as my mother who invited her did. So what I am wondering do you think a thank you note would be in good taste for simply going to a bead show as mutual friends? Also it should be noted that I was not the one to initiate the invitation I welcomed it and enjoyed her company also my mother and her are of similar age so its not as if it was a teenage babysitter.haha yeah, make the parents happy thats definitely the safest route. I failed nursing school in Oct 2008. I was disappointed but I decided to suck it up and not see myself as a failure but to say it was not my timing. In the next semester, I worked on an English degree (assoc) and to my surprise I only had 5 courses to take and move on to a univ. This semester I can complete the needed three. Also, I went to Birmingham AL to take care of a friend's mom. I had resigned from work to finish school and found myself without work and becoming a nurse. I was supposed to stay only one month with my friend's mom but I ended up staying 3 and a half months because they needed help and could not afford it. Eventually, they found someone and I helped by putting in my opinion of the new person. My daughter said I seriously should have been paid or giving me the $300 that they gave the granddaughter for graduation (HS) because she won't come over to assist in any way or call. I don't see it like that. I see it as giving a good HS gift. Yes, I would have racked up in duckies if I had been paid (over 1,000 hrs of work --- cooking; bathing and cleanings; lite housekeeping) and patient advocacy. Somehow I feel foolish and other times I feel proud because I prepared her physical therapy again that had been discontinued due to her painful gout and inflammation --- her legs couldn't bend and I stayed longer. Why is it sometimes we do a good deed and then feel foolish because we do things that no one else is willing to do? Does God work this way?
