Does anyone know a good website to find the latest updates on the contruction at I65 and 80/94 in northern Indiana?We will be driving from Chicago area to Saugatuck, Michigan this Friday evening and I'm trying to find the latest traffic updates. Unfortunately there is no good route that I've found other then taking 80/94.Or, does anyone know of a better route that won't add too much more travel time?

Okay so my fiance and I are planning on moving to Chicago this summer. We are thinking of living in either Lincoln Park or Lakeview/Wrigleyville. I was wondering if these were good neighborhoods for young professionals that want everything at their doorstep?? And also, does anyone know of a commutable suburban school district that is good? I'm trying to stay away from inner city, any ideas of somewhere close to these neighborhoods??

I know there is a big difference between the two, but I'm interested in both University of Chicago and Hampshire College. How difficult is it to get into either school? Is money and/or alumni relation a factor?

I just asked a question why the US doesn't get rid of the electoral college and I got stupid answers from people I assume are conservatives because they were bashing democrats. They claim that NYC, LA, and chicago will decide the elections if we do it by popular vote. That is the stupidest thing I ever heard. If the 2004 election was decided by popular vote Bush would have won anyway because he got the majority of popular votes. So don't give me that crap that five cities decide the election. And not all the states are monolithic votes. Many people in upstate New York vote republican just like many people in South Texas vote democratic. In fact people should want to get rid of the EC because that way NYC wouldn't have to decide the election for all of New York state. I think conservatives love the electoral college because it mostly goes in their favor. Remember the 2000 election? I'm not favoring democrats but I want each vote to count the same. Ok, so here's my problem. I have been feeling increasingly funny after getting hit in the right temple with a high heel shoe by my cousin in Chicago a month ago. She basically made me see spots, and I started bleeding. but it healed. (The reason why is a long story lol)I have been having increasing anxiety and panic attacks, my hearing has been "dimming" at times thats the only way I can describe it. Like the volume is being turned down then up again in my ears. My vision has gone "wobbly" SEVERAL times the past two weeks. and I have been seeing spots and streaking lights every now and then. On top of that I have been having strange headaches they move from the front to back. One headache woke me up out of sleep. It was like a lightning bolt struck me between the ears across the back of my head. I am also getting increasingly fatigued and dizzy when I stand up. The later I have always had, but not to this degree. Other symptoms include weird dizziness when sitting down, my fingers starting twitching randomly a week ago, and my legs and arms all the way to the shoulder and all the way up to my butt fall asleep FREQUENTLY, even after 10 minutes in one position.I went to the doctor twice! once they told me I was having an outbreak of hives, and the second time, after a full blood/metabolic profile told me I have anxiety disorder! But this is without even making me see a shrink! I have a feeling the doctors don't know what they're talking about, and I'm on the verge of getting a second opinion, because this is starting to affect my everyday activities. but I can't afford to run to the doctor all the time, so I'm kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place. anybody have any clue what it could be. All you docs and nurses who are on here alot, have any free advice?also . . .Strange sensations of getting really hot suddenlydrowsiness during the day after full nights sleepmy posture has been getting progressively worse as well. Mainly because I'm getting dizzy when I stand up, and am constantly trying to grab onto something if I faint or something. and yes they checked for Orthopedic Hypotension . . . according to them I don't have it . . . . . But it stttiiiiilllll happens. GRRRR.

Bernie Mac's Funeral in Chicago and the Absence of White Celebs?Someone must have told all the white celebs not to attend Bernie Mac's funeral in Chicago at the House of Hope on the south side because there was not a white face in the crowd except Mayor Daley. I used to be in a bad racket of people-smuggeling because my sister's ex-husband was part of the New Mob of Chicago.
