I was watching Maury Povich...you know the paternity testing? So this girl was talking about this guy who got her pregnant, left her when she became pregnant. She was saying that she almost died during delivery and that she pushed so hard her ovaries came out and now she can never have kids again. Is this actually possible? Ive told other people about this story and they don't believe it.

There is without doubt a party political edge to this affair. Although what that is, is any-ones guess. Now Misty, we know they are guilty of child neglect by their own admission. And they are certainly getting protection from the establishment.Misty i do think they don`t love their kids. LEgally speaking Child neglect includes leaving a child( or children) without a responsible adult looking after them.As three children were alledgedly left alone in that house whilst the Mc Canns went out, it constitutes child neglect. What if the flat had gone on fire? What if one of the children had got a chair and climbed up on a shelf? Children can`t be trusted to act responsibly, that is why they can`t be left alone.

So I work at a SUPER busy restaurant and it's small too so it's always crammed. I haven't worked for a week but tomorrow i have to get up at 8 and work. I work on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, because it's Labour Day Weekend. IT'S SO BUSY FROM ALL OF THE TOURISTS. It's really tiring and the time passes slowly ... I only work five hours for 8.20 an hour no matter how busy and I just want to sleep because I have to go to school Tuesday. It's pure torture and my bosses are jerks who swear all the time. I'm quitting at the end of October but my co-worker tells me that the next long weekend is Octoberfest and she just about fainted working that weekend. What can I do to make my job easier. They yell at you for standing there for 3 seconds. I work REALLY hard.

I have had no show or anything. I feel period pains that last for about 10 minutes about 7 hours apart and she keeps moving around so I don't think she's coming anytime soon.

I was with my mom, today, and I had abdominal pain. It was like a menstrual cramp, which slowly became more like the "need to go to the bathroom for a #2" type of pain (i didn't really have any bowel movement, just a similar feeling). I also had a draft of heat. It was not a contraction (I've had painful braxton hicks before, it was not the same feeling and my belly didn't "contract")When my mom asked me to describe it to her, she looked a little surprise and said it was what she felt before having contractions and real labour pain. My aunt who was there too nodded. Did anyone else feel anything like that? Was it prior to labour?

Okay here's a good rant for me hehehe - yesterday at work one of the ladies was just chatting to me in the toilets asking how long I have left and how long I'm working for etc. When I answered 6-7wks to go and working for another 5 she looked like she was going to faint. She even went back and had a word to my boss about it (who laughed at her mind you) but it brings me to so many other examples. The first aid officer in my area is afraid that I'll go into labour at work and it will be her responsibility to look after me and even deliver the baby (cause people have first aid officers in their homes ready for these moments), other people are often looking at you funny and saying "don't go into labour on me" Um hello, a pregnant woman generally only goes into labour once. It ain't that common an occurence and it's not like my baby is just going to pop out and land at your feet any second, if I were to start experiencing labour right at this second trust me, I don't want you sticking around either, I'll just go home nice and calm thank you! This especially annoys me when coming from other mothers they know better than anyone that it isn't that common an occurence. They also know that when bub moves sometimes it causes you to grab your tummy cause it can hurt, yet they still freak out the second something like that happens. Why is it such a common thing for people to assume that you will go into labour whilst they are there out of the blue and pop out a baby within seconds? This is very rarely what happens, hugely rare in fact yet it's every second persons forethoughts the minute they lay eyes on a pregnant woman. What the???Sandy: hahaha that sounds way good I reckon I might just have to do that!!!It just drives me up the wall where has all the common sense gone? I know it is a stupid question to ask and one that won't change anything but hey I got hormones to blame it on hehehe

My car had a small hole and some rust. My dad's boss's brother told my dad he will fix the hole and paint the rusty parts for free. so i gave to him. He promised me he's return in a week. 5 days later he called and said he had to change the oil, the headlight (which was little loose) and one of the door handle (also little broke) for only $250. He said he's return the car back within a week. A week later when i was ready to go get my car he said “there’s something wrong with the bumpers”. I know this man was trying to rip off my pocket so i told him “don’t bother i’ll deal with that stuff later”. He told me to come and get the car in 3 days. I went but the work wasn’t completed. He told me all the lame excuses in the world and told me to come back in a week. The only reason y i didn’t say anything is because he got my car. Oh and he’s charging me $450 for the labour cost. I remember him telling me he’s not going to charge labour fee for me because my dad work for his brother. But whatever happen to that. Yesterday i called him but he didn’t answer the phone. I called the work place but they said he’s not there. I already paid him $250 for the parts and some labour fees. The only witness i have is my friend who came with me when i drop the car. College is going to start, i need my car...i don’t want to create drama because my dad work under his brother. What should i do? I can’t tolerate this reckless man anymore. p.s- its been exactly 3 weeks and 2 days. i spoke with the owner but he said he's not responsible for this. i don’t know the rules and regulations in the mechanic world. Can i sue this immature garage for wasting my time?

When I was 7 weeks pregnant my doc sent me for a B-strep test along with my initial blood tests. So anyway I tested positive for the bacteria, and the doc says I will need to have an antibiotic IV when I go into labour. When I am in labour I don't want to be hooked up to a bag and I don't need any more trauma than I will already be in (I am scared of needles). When I get to the city at 36 weeks (I have to relocate to give birth as our town doesn't have the facilities) I am thinking I will go see my old doctor and ask him to re-do the test. Do you think it is likely to be gone 29 weeks after it was detected? In Australia it is not common practice to get an IV in labour. The only reason I ended up getting one with my first baby is because 8 hours in I opted for an epidural, and by then the pain was so horrendous I couldn't feel anything elseI am fine with having the IV if I still have the bacteria. I am just annoyed that he did my test at 7 weeks when it is cyclic and they are meant to wait til 37 weeks to do the testThanks ladies, I definitely don't want my poor baby to be traumatised by the needles. I will have the test again, if I DO have the bacteria I will just suck it up and think of your babies

Adam Smith wrote the Wealth of Nations in 1776. His work was very influential, especially in the formation of the new United States. He argued that the government should not be involved in the economic choices of individuals. Following are quotes from his work. You will be answering questions on this for Activity 6.3. "No regulation of commerce can increase the quantity of industry in any society beyond what its capital can maintain. It can only divert a part of it into a direction into which it might not otherwise have gone; and it is by no means certain that this artificial direction is likely to be more advantageous to the society than that into which it would have gone of its own accord.""Every individual is continually exerting himself to find out the most advantageous employment for whatever capital he can command. It is his own advantage, indeed, and not that of the society, which he has in view. But, the study of his own advantage naturally, or rather necessarily, leads him to prefer that employment which is most advantageous to the society.""The consideration of his own private profit is the sole motive which determines the owner of any capital to employ it either in agriculture, in manufactures, or in some particular branch of the wholesale or retail trade. The different quantities of productive labour which it may put into motion, and the different values which it may add to the annual, produce of the land and labour of the society . . . never enter into his thoughts. In countries, therefore, where agriculture is the most profitable of all employments, and farming and improving the most direct roads to a splendid fortune, the capitals of individuals will naturally be employed in the manner most advantageous to the whole society.""The statesman, who would attempt to direct private people in what manner they ought to employ their capitals, would . . . assume an authority which could safely be trusted, not only to no single person, but to no council or senate whatever...."Karl Marx wrote The Communist Manifesto with Friedrich Engels in 1848. Following is an excerpt from his work. You will be answering questions on this for Activity 6.3. "The history of all hitherto existing society is the history of class struggles. Freeman and slave, patrician and plebeian, lord and serf, guild-master and journeyman, in a word, oppressor and oppressed, stood in constant opposition to one another, carried on an uninterrupted, now hidden, now open fight, a fight that each time ended, either in a revolutionary reconstitution of society at large, or in the common ruin of the contending classes.""Our epoch, the epoch of the bourgeoisie [wealthy and middle class - those who own businesses and employ labor], possesses, however, this distinct feature: it has simplified class antagonisms. Society as a whole is more and more splitting up into two great hostile camps, into two great classes directly facing each other — bourgeoisie and proletariat [working class]."The immediate aim of the Communists is the same as that of all other proletarian parties: Formation of the proletariat into a class, overthrow of the bourgeois supremacy, conquest of political power by the proletariat. In this sense, the theory of the Communists may be summed up in the single sentence: Abolition of private property. Nevertheless, in most advanced countries, the following [changes once a Communist revolution has occurred] will be pretty generally applicable. 1. Abolition of property in land and application of all rents of land to public purposes. 2. A heavy progressive or graduated income tax. 3. Abolition of all rights of inheritance. 4. Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels. 5. Centralization of credit in the banks of the state, by means of a national bank with state capital and an exclusive monopoly. 6. Centralization of the means of communication and transport in the hands of the state. 7. Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the state; the bringing into cultivation of waste lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan. 8. Equal obligation of all to work. Establishment of industrial armies, especially for agriculture. 9. Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries; gradual abolition of all the distinction between town and country by a more equable distribution of the populace over the country. 10. Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of children's factory labor in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production, etc. Adam Smith states in the Wealth of Nations that the economic choices of individuals benefit society as a whole. In other words, that while a person might be looking for a job for his own profit, the job he takes will benefit the rest of society without any conscious effort on his part. 1. Do you think that Adam Smith i

Hi, I have recently left about 5 questions asking what requirements are ment to be to be able to apply for a successful visa to permanently live and work in australia. I have been given sites to look and and i am thankful for that. What i have found out is that there has been a visa introduced for semi-skilled or un skilled workers. Is that true? It says that on this web site >> http://www.workpermit.com/news/2008-07-22/australia/minister-says-australia-needs-unskilled-foreign-labor.htm Ok, what im also asking is, is there anyone out there who actually knows what the answer is to that question, will they allow a certain amount of semi-skilled / Un-skilled workers? Because my mum is a high level teaching assistant, and my dad holds a HGV 2 Drivers License, and i have researched on websites such as seek.com.au and there are jobs available in those roles. So isit possible to be granted a visa? As the Government have already said that they are lacking in Labour Shortages. Thank you!
